I will . . . Thrive.

Updated: 1 day ago

You have to be careful listening to people who have had a different upbringing than you. Their lens in which they see the world can vary from yours. For example, someone moving through life with more than everything they needed growing up, being used to the privileges afforded by however they benefited from the systems at play in our society. Beware of someone like that telling you that money isn't important. They don't have the same catching up to do as you. In fact, they could easily be sitting on assets they may take for granted, inherited and passed down through generations. But this is the goal, right? To set ourselves and our progeny up to be able to thrive, and successfully complete the level of survival. So, work must be done and in an intelligent way. I'm the first to get out of line, fighting the power and resisting the demands put on us that keep us in a chokehold of a seemingly never-ending cycle of capitalism but maturity is realizing we have to play smart and not hard, and money is necessary for the revolution. As an artist, I understand my art is a powerful tool and there is no price high enough to compensate for the Divine gift I've been bestowed. Yet at the same time, I will make sure that I am justly paid for my talents and offerings because we need assets, resources, support, and currency to fight and defend. The less time spent in survival mode, the more time spent being present, which leads to solutions. The more money put in the hands of people like myself, with integrity and a vision of unity, the better. Money is not the root of all evil, rather money in the hands of those with evil intent leads to a path of destruction.

What are some of the best ways to utilize the tool that is money, to further the causes you care about? Do you believe there are people out there with an abundance of amassed wealth that have the collective in mind? What would you do with millions of dollars, that would benefit others as well?
